Daylight savings, yay!

It’s a sign when the days get longer and the grass gets greener and the days get hotter as the time passes by.

And then it is confirmed when we have to jump an hour forward to make that sunshine last.

Yes, Daylight Savings Time starts at 2a.m. Sunday morning here in New Zealand. From a kids program yesterday I learnt “Spring forward, Fall back.” Now it is so much clearer!

So, before you get to bed, change your clocks an hour forward. If you depend on computer time or your Telecom mobile you don’t really need to care or worry about this fact.

Finally, the days of continuous rain are nearly behind us (spring is really unpredictable).

Yes I can sadly say Autumn is most definately here. There is no more denying it sadly. The leaves are turning brilliant oranges, reds and yellows and falling to the ground and I find myself looking out the window at grey skies and rain, rain and yet more rain. So while you are sitting in the sunshine, enjoying the feeling of warmth spare a thought for me. On the other side of the world braving the winds and rain. AHH but only 8 more weeks of this fantastic country…………………
