As per the recommendations of my friends, I’ll be reprogramming PSP MusicBox in C#. Well, maybe not completely reprogram (.net C++ and C# are quite similar). Good things should come of this. It will have another new interface to make it more expandable (unlike the tabs). The main stuff was being rewritten anyway, so really it is no skin off my bone.
I was thinking April Fools after posting it. The C++ code is a real mess, and I plan on making it open source in the future, so instead of tidying up the code in C++, I thought it’d be nice to do something in C#.
The other idea was to make a podcatcher in C# after finding out that all podcatchers suck - I mean are nice to use in some respects but not in others. But that would be on hold for the time being.
Plus Paul has been cringing whenever I say “Managed C++,” so I thought I’d spare him.
Sounds good, I was half joking with the April Fools… C# is a very tidy language.
