New TradeMe microsummary generator

Well, I made a TradeMe microsummary generator for Firefox 2.0 some time back when the feature was first announced. Since then I don’t think it has actually worked, especially now that TradeMe has updated their look.

So, here is a new one.

How to use it:

  1. Go to a TradeMe auction page, like this one.
  2. Click on Bookmarks, then Bookmark this Page.
  3. Click on the little arrow on the Name combo and select the live title.

You may want to put it on your Bookmarks Toolbar.
  4. Click OK, you’re all done!

Now it is time to get back to work.

Legend I was looking for this do you think trademe would put it on their website so people would use firefox as well?

Hmm, not sure. I might just contact them.

I can’t seem to get it to load by itself it just stays static. I have to use the reload live tittle to get it to update I even added in the about:config for it to update to update every minute. But it seems even the firefox counter is the same.

Now it works you should also add how to add the browser.microsummary.updateInterval so it updates every minute or you can just specify it in your generator. Thanks again you are a legend I hope to be writing a few articles in the weekend sun about technology so this sort of thing is great for your average reader.

I don’t think it is a good idea to update every minute.

Yeah but it needs to be quicker than 30 otherwise there isn’t much use for it as the auction has closed and its doubled in price without you knowing.

Trademe must of changed its site because the title wont show only the price now.

Could you also do an extension for Lixtor.co.nz?
